Piotr Polczak: We need to be disciplined and organized
‘It is always easier to take on a team you have already won against. It may give us the edge psychologically,’ says Cracovia defender Piotr Polczak ahead of Wisła Płock clash on Saturday.

‘It is always easier to take on a team you have already won against. It may give us the edge psychologically, says Cracovia defender Piotr Polczak ahead of Wisła Płock clash on Saturday.

- On Saturday Cracovia take on Wisła Płock. You had more time to prepare for this game because of the international break. Do you think youre ready for your next Lotto Ekstraklasa fixture?

- Yes, I think we benefitted from a free weekend. In the first week of the international break we took part in more intense trainings, and in the last couple of days we had standard practice sessions, the aim of which was to prepare us for the next Ekstraklasa clash. We wanted to improve our form before the last four games of the regular season and the playoffs. We did everything that needed to be done so I hope were ready both mentally and physically.

- After defeat to Korona Kielce you learned the hard way how tight it is at the bottom part of the Ekstraklasa table. However, it also means that one victory may move you up in the standings straight away.

- It is a close-fought season. Nevertheless, right now were not thinking about what is happening in the league table. The most important thing is to win the next game and thats what were focused on.

- Cracovias last but one victory was against Wisła Płock. May it somehow give you more confidence?

- It is always easier to take on a team you have already won against. It may give us the edge psychologically. However, we need to remember we will have to do without a few of our regulars - Marcin Budziński and Kuba Wójcicki will serve a suspension, and some of our other players are injured. Other lads will be given a chance to play, lets hope they will rise to the challenge.

- Wisła Płock have fared pretty well at home. What do you have to do to end their unbeaten record?

- Its hard to say. For sure we need to be disciplined and organized. It is essential that we be stay focused and avoid unforced errors knowing that chances will come.
