Cracovia is building a training facility in Rączna!
Very soon Cracovia will own two training centres. Apart from the one on 101 Wielicka Street, a new one will be added in Rączna, which is situated in the suburbs of Cracow. MKS Cracovia SSA Chairman of the Board prof. Janusz Filipiak and Liszki Mayor Paweł Miś have signed today a land lease deal.
In July 2015 the two sides have put their signatures on a letter of intent and after six months met again in Gminny Ośrodek Kultury in Rączna, to sign a deal concerning the lease of land in Rączna, Liszki.
‘It is a historic moment for Rączki, and the whole municipality of Liszki. We consider this event to be very important and prestigious. Now everyday a club of this kind wants to invest in Liszki. I am sure that it will be advantageous for both sides as such a training facility will make football even more popular in the area. I hope that Cracovia will feel at home in Rączna, said Liszki Mayor Paweł Miś.
MKS Cracovia SSA Chairman of the Board prof. Janusz Filipiak was also happy about the investment: ‘I am very pleased that we met with the interest of the authorities of Liszki to build a training centre, which we really need, in their municipality. The location of the leased land is very good as it is easy to get here from Cracow. We wouldnt be able to find this kind of land in the city.
‘It will be a pro public bono investment dedicated mainly to junior teams. We will build a small stadium, i.e. a pitch with the stands, which will meet the third division requirements. What is more, the training facility will involve two training pitches, an artificial pitch, a sanitary and locker room base. The documents will be ready by June, we have the resources and we are very determined to carry out the investment prof. Janusz Filipiak added.
