A very lively start to the match saw Cracovia getting the opening goal with seven minutes on the clock and Lech Poznań poking in an equalizer two minutes later. Unfortunately it was Lech who hit the late winner and gained victory tonight.

The opening exchanges of the match were played at a frenetic pace. Cracovia made a great start to the game and got on the front foot 7 minutes in with Bartosz Kapustka heading home. It seemingly put us well on course for victory, however, after we had barely finished celebrating the opener, Darko Jevtićs strike deflected off Piotr Polczak and went past the helpless Grzegorz Sandomierski. It was 1-1.

After the two goals the game lost a bit from its intensity. Both teams fashioned a couple of goal-scoring opportunities but couldnt find the net. On 59 minutes Cracovia came close to scoring their second goal of the evening. Mateusz Catnarski provided Boubacar Diabang with a chance to score by producing a killer lob pass over Marcin Kamiński, but the onrushing Bouba fired a left-footed effort over the bar.

Unfortunetely for us it was Lech who had the last say as Maciej Gajos slotted home with 3 minutes to go. That was the end of the scoring. We lost to Lech 2-1.
