Michał Rakoczy is the Youth Player of February in Ekstraklasa

On Monday, our midfielder, Michał Rakoczy, has been awarded as PKO Bank Polski Youth Player of February. The news was announced at the official website of Ekstraklasa S.A., the governing body of PKO BP Ekstraklasa.
19-year-old player was one of the three nominees for the award alongside Jakub Kamiński from Lech Poznań and Karol Struski from Jagiellonia Białystok.
The award for Michał was an outcome of his good appearances during PKO BP Ekstraklasa matches in February. He scored two goals - against Lech Poznań and Lechia Gdańsk.
60 out of his 84 passes were accurate, and 124 balls were passed to him. What's more, the goal against had the lowest Expected Goals (xG) rate throughout every single score by youth player in the league (2,64% chance of scoring a goal).
