Pasy to play their first Europa League qualifying round game on 30 June

The UEFA Europa League first and second qualifying round draws will take place on 20 June in Nyon. It means that on that day we will get to know Cracovias rival in the clubs first appearance in the competition. The first qualifying round games will be held on 30 June and 7 July.
Last Sunday we witnessed a historical achievement as Cracovia ended the season in style with a 2-0 win over Lechia Gdańsk. The victory is all the more important considering Pasy came fourth in the Ekstraklasa and secured their place in the 2016-2017 UEFA Europa League qualifying round for the first time in the clubs history, this kind of success being a perfect way of celebrating Cracovias 110th birthday.
It means that this year our players will get shorter holidays. On Monday Pasy got a day off and today they met up at the clubs training facility to take part in one final training session before the summer break - they will start their holidays on Wednesday. The team will be back at the training ground on 13 June when they will start getting ready for the new season.
After a week of training, on 20 June, Cracovia will get to know their rival in the Europa League first qualifying round (the first leg is set to be played on 30 June and the second leg on 7 July). What is more, on 20 June the second qualifying round draw will take place, too, which will allow the teams to know their potential rival were they to get through to the next stage of the competition (the second round games are to be held on July 14 and 21). Meanwhile, the first Ekstraklasa fixtures are set on July 16 - 17.
