We are very happy to announce that Cracovia has signed yet another player. The German-Ghanaian left-back signed a one-year deal with our club with the possibility of two-year extension.

Lennard Sowah was born on 23 August 1992 in Hamburg, Germany. He took his first steps in football at a local club S.C. Urania Hamburg and then played at Arsenal and Portsmouth football academies.

In Portsmouth he made his first senior appearance. The interesting thing is Lennard is a Premier League record-holder - on 18 April 2010 he played against Aston Villa being the first player born after the Premier League was formed to start a game in the competition. He played five games in Englands top tier.

In the summer of 2010 Sowah returned to his home town as he moved to Hambuger SV, where he played in the reserves team. In the next couple of years he played for the Danish team FC Vestsjælland and then Scottish clubs Hamilton Academical and Heart of Midlothian.

Sowah is a left-back but may also play in a left wing position or as a centre-back.

    Lennard, welcome to Pasy!
