The Polish Super Cup game has been cancelled

According to the Polish Football Association's official statement, tomorrow's game of Polish Super Cup, in which we were preparing to face Legia Warszawa, is cancelled.

We present the content of the official announcement of the Association:

Polish Football Association informs that the match for the Super Cup of Poland, in which the league champion, Legia Warsaw, was to face the Polish Cup winner, Cracovia, on 9 August 2020, is cancelled.

The cancellation is due to the fact that a case of coronavirus infection was revealed in a member of the staff of Legia Warszawa. The decision aims at minimising the risk of the virus spreading in clubs participating in European cups and to take care of the upcoming start of PKO BP Ekstraklasa.

According to the safety procedures, exclusion of a potential infection can only be achieved after two negative tests at an interval of 7 days.
