    Niko Datković has become the latest addition to the Cracovia squad completing a transfer from Italian side Spezia Calcio. The player has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Pasy. Niko, welcome aboard!

    Niko Datković has become the latest addition to the Cracovia squad completing a transfer from Italian side Spezia Calcio. The player has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Pasy. Niko, welcome aboard!

    Niko Datković was born on 21 April 1993 in Rijeka, Croatia.  He plays as a centre-back.

    After progressing through the ranks he made his first team debut for his home town club HNK Rijeka in August 2011. He spent two and a half years at Rijeka, where he collected 38 appearances and scored two goals.

    From early 2014 until the end of the 2014-15 season he played on loan at Spezia Calcio in Italys Serie B. He figured 31 times for the first team and scored four goals.

    In the following season Niko moved on loan to FC Lugano in the Swiss Super League, where he made 27 appearances and netted two goals.

    In August 2016 he returned to Spezia signing a permanent deal and in September 2017 moved on a season-long loan to a Romanian side CS U Craiova, where he featured in 9 games.

    Now the Croat has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Cracovia.

    Upon signing for Pasy, Niko said: ‘Cracovia is a big team in the Ekstraklasa. I talked to my friend Antonini Čulina, who had joined Cracovia earlier this winter, and he said many positive things about the club and the city, encouraging me to come here.
